The Lingual Tree was created in response to a desire to contribute and support multi-disciplinary teams in schools with great efficiency while putting each child’s needs at the forefront.
Our staff are culturally sensitive and are passionate about performing clinical, evidence-based therapy to treat children with a wide range of speech and language disorders. Cultural competency is very important both to The Lingual Tree and the schools receiving services. We recognize that there is often confusion and over-qualification of students learning English as a second language. We aim to accurately assess children through a true clinical lens.
The Lingual Tree has heard from schools loud and clear that relationships with teachers, administrators and parents are a critically important part of providing speech and language services. This criteria that is often missing from traditional staffing agencies. We agree and aim to ensure that Lingual Tree’s individual providers build strong relationships with everyone in the child’s environment so that well-informed assessment and treatment can occur.
